Endlich Urlaub! Vom 8.-13. April waren wir am Gardasee unterwegs. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus in Padenghe sul Garda (Grazie Cristina & Roberto! www.caprapanca.it) und haben das phantastische Wetter für diverse Ausflüge ins Umland genutzt.
Am 9. und 10. April fand der WASIC Agility Trial in Lonato del Garda statt, an dem wir mit beiden Hunden teilgenommen haben. Die meisten Läufe fielen in die Kategorie „Training“; Dash gefiel der Boden so gar nicht und er hat ziemlich viel mit Georg diskutiert. Ally hat sich ordentlich geschlagen und den JS-O komplettiert; im Regular hat sie FAST alle Zonengeräte fehlerfrei absolviert (bis auf die letzte A-Wand des Turniers, da machte sie das Flughörnchen aus 2 Metern Höhe – eine kleine Schrecksekunde, aber sie hat sich zum Glück nicht weh getan), und am Samstag erlief sie zusammen mit Border Collie Kali im WASIC Tunnel Cup den 4. Platz. Als Preis gab es ein schickes WASIC-T-Shirt, welches schon brav getragen wurde.
Ein riesengroßes Dankeschön an Michelle und Damiano (und alle anderen vom WASIC) für ihr Engagement, diesen Trial auf die Beine zu stellen – nächstes Jahr mit mehr Werbung und hoffentlich noch mehr Teilnehmern, ihr habt es euch verdient! Es war ein wirklich schönes Event!
Ebenfalls Danke an den ASCA Richter Roger Coor und seine Frau Anna, dass sie den Weg nach Italien gefunden haben. Es gab wie immer viel Interessantes zu lernen 🙂
Finally: holidays! We visited Lake Garda from April 8-13, had a beautiful holiday home in Padenghe sul Garda (Grazie Cristina & Roberto! www.caprapanca.it) and used the phantastic weather for various trips. Beautiful!
The WASIC Agility Trial in Lonato del Garda took place on April 9 and 10, and we competed with both dogs. Most runs fell into the „training“ category; Dash didn’t like the floor at all and discussed a lot with Georg. Ally behaved herself and completed the JS-O; in the Regular runs she did NEARLY all zone obstacles without mistakes (apart from the last A-Frame of the tournament, she decided to do the flying squirrel from 2 meters high – a scary moment, but luckily she didn’t hurt herself), and on Saturday she won the 4th place in the WASIC Tunnel Cup together with Border Collie Kali. Our price was a pretty WASIC t-shirt which is of course already being worn proudly.
Many many thanks to Michelle and Damiano (and everyone else at WASIC) for organising this Trial – next year we’ll do it with more advertisement and more runners – you deserve it! It really was a great event!
