Vom 27.-29. Mai fand in Böheimkirchen der 2. ASCA Agility Trial in Österreich statt, und wir waren natürlich wieder dabei – diesmal nicht nur als Starter und Helfer, sondern auch als „Scorekeeper“. Ich habe drei Tage lang Zeiten gestoppt, Ergebnisse in den Computer eingegeben, Listen erstellt, den Papierkram erledigt, und eigentlich alles gemacht, was sonst noch so angefallen ist. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter (auch wenn es vielleicht ein bisschen weniger heiß hätte sein können) und eine wirklich gute Zeit mit netten Leuten und einer Menge toller Läufe.
Ally hat quasi auf den letzten Drücker am Sonntag Nachmittag mit zwei Qualifying Scores und einem dritten Platz im Elite Jumping ihren JS-E Titel klar gemacht, nachdem sie die ersten zwei Tage eher geistig abwesend war.
Dash ist wie immer um sein Leben gerannt, hat sich aber von Lauf zu Lauf gesteigert. Es war zwar diesmal kein Qualifying Score für ihn drin, aber ich finde, wir sind auf einem guten Weg, und das Training macht sich bezahlt. Jeder Turnierstart ist eine Lernerfahrung für uns alle!
Als Bonus haben wir dann in der Tombola noch ein Gratis-Fotoshooting mit Daniela von Indian Eyes Photography gewonnen. Auf dessen Resultat sind wir schon sehr gespannt!
The second ASCA Agility Trial in Austria took place in Böheimkirchen from May 27-29, and of course we were there – this time not just as competitors and helpers, but also as Scorekeeper. I took care of the stopwatch on all three days, entered the results into the computer program, printed lists and everything else that had to be done. We were lucky with the weather, too (even though it could have been a bit colder), and had a really good time with nice people and lots of great Agility runs.
Ally managed to last-minute finish her JS-E on Sunday afternoon with 2 Qualifying Scores and a Third Place in Jumping Elite after being mentally absent for the first two days.
Dash ran for his life, as usual, and improved with every run. He didn’t manage to get a qualifying score this time though, however I think we are on the right path, and the training is paying off nicely. Every competition is practice for all of us!
As a bonus we won a free photo shooting with Daniela (Indian Eyes Photography) in the Tombola. We are already looking forward to the results!
